We are a husband and wife team, with a life-time experience of owning our own dogs, but we always had difficulty in finding suitable dog boarding accomodation for when we went away.

Owning 2 Great Danes, a Samoyed and a Cross-breed at one time, we wanted all of our dogs to stay together for company, familiarity, and their own comfort. As you can imagine, we never found a boarding kennels with the size of accomodation to let this happen.......

.... so we decided to set up a new business and develop our own boarding kennels here at Shepherd House, and add the extra ingredients of a homely atmosphere for our boarders.

Our kennels are each much like a room in a normal house, because our own dogs have always slept indoors, and anything else would unsettle them.

Why force unsettling changes on a dog when you go away?
